תזמורת האוניברסיטה העברית מזמינה נגנים מתקדמים בכלי מיתר וכלי נשיפה להצטרף אליה. התזמורת פתוחה לסטודנטים, בוגרים, חברי סגל של האוניברסיטה, ולנגנים מיומנים מבחוץ המעוניינים לנגן בתזמורת. סטודנטים של האוניברסיטה העברית זכאים ל-2 נ"ז על השתתפותם בתזמורת דרך אבני פינה.
בסדרת הקונצרטים "פגוש את התזמורת" תינתן לנגנים מתוך התזמורת הזדמנות לנגינת קטעי סולו. דוגמאות לקונצרטים של התזמורת בלינקים הבאים:

חזרות התזמורת תתקיימנה בקמפוס גבעת רם, בבית ברטר, בימי שלישי בשעות 19:00-22:00. לפני הקונצרטים יקבעו חזרות נוספות.

ONLINE AUDITIONS FOR THE HEBREW UNIVERSITY ORCHESTRA
The orchestra invites string and wind players who are students, graduates, foreign students, faculty, staff, and accomplished musicians from the community. Registered Hebrew University students earn 2 course credits for participation through Avney Pina and through the Musicology Department course Our “Meet the Orchestra” concerts feature members of the orchestra as soloists.
